Flora Institutes unveil nation's first innovative NVH Learning Laboratory in Pune

The nation’s first innovative Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) Learning Lab was inaugurated by Dr. Parag Kalkar, esteemed Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) on December 20th, '24 at Flora Institutes, Khopi, Pune and supported by Dassault Systemes Foundation.

The NVH Learning lab offers a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, preparing students to be industry ready.

This cutting-edge lab is designed to provide experiential learning opportunities to students & faculty members across India. The NVH Learning Lab enables faculty & students to gain hands-on experience along with NVH fundamentals and vibration simulations using Abaqus software.

The lab facilities are accessible to students nationwide, promoting a collaborative and inclusive educational environment. Faculty Development Programmes (FDP) are planned across India to disseminate knowledge and skills in NVH domain. The program was attended by Mr. Sudarshan Mongasale, CEO of Dassault Systems, Dr. Pramod Patil, Dean, Science and Technology, SPPU, Pune, Dr. Pradeep Patil, Chairman, Board of Studies, Mechanical Engineering, SPPU, Pune.

The directors, experts and engineers from Dassault Systemes, Tata Motors, Varroc Tech Centre, Equilibrium Solutions, and Welan Technologies graced the occasion. The quality of the lab and the dedicated efforts of its architect, Dr. Mohan Godse, were highly appreciated by the attendees. The NVH Learning Lab is seamlessly integrated with the NVH elective course, developed by industry expert Dr. Mohan Godse, who brings his extensive experience from Ford Motor Company, USA, to Flora Institutes.
